Alyssa is an experienced senior commercial lawyer specialising in Commonwealth government procurement, commercial advice, contracting, and probity.

Alyssa develops strong client relationships and a deep understanding of their business needs to provide practical advice. Alyssa has also worked in legal practice management and operations, major projects, legal assurance, and commercialadvising.  

Alyssa provides trusted advice to clients on compliance with the Commonwealth government procurement framework and the full range of associated commercial and legal issues, including approaches to market, contracts, memoranda of understanding, delegations under the PGPA Act, Accountable Authority Instructions, and inter-agency projects. Alyssa has advised on conflicts of interest and confidentiality, and key areas of contract law risk such as termination, variations, disputes, insurance, intellectual property, indemnities, warranties and liability.

Alyssa has been recognised for her dedication and commitment to her clients, as the winner of the prestigious Women in Law Awards, Senior Associate of the Year -SME Law (2023).

Prior to joining Aldermane, Alyssa worked in-house for Commonwealth agencies (the Department of Veterans' Affairs, the Department of Home Affairs and Services Australia), and for national and boutique private law firms.
