Joe is a client-focused project professional who has managed significant capability acquisition projects in Defence throughout his career. This has given him exposure to the One Defence Capability System through the Gate process to achieve Government approval. Taking that to the next level, he has managed contracts to achieve successful outcomes, on-time and on-budget. Joe has also demonstrated the ability to deliver and close-out many projects by demonstrating that project scope was delivered that met the initial requirements and funds were expended in accordance with Government guidelines.
After a successful project management career, Joe turned his hand to Project scheduling predominantly in the Defence environment. Whilst managing the sections schedules, he also became the Branch Controller providing guidance to several schedulers and mentoring trainee schedulers in project management practices.
With over 30 years' project management and related experience, Joe has worked in the APS and several private companies. Joe has provided scheduling services to:

Joe has most recently worked as the Master Scheduler for the Maritime Domain Support Branch in the Navy Capability Division within Defence. There, he prepared and consolidated monthly significant events for the Head of the Division. The Maritime Domain schedule captured significant project milestones of all projects comprising the five programs in the Division. Significant changes had to be made to the schedule after the release of the Integrated Investment Program (rebuild), issue of the Naval Strategic Review and subsequent restructure of the Division - and Joe was pivotal in implementing those changes.
